Alex is currently Director of Clearview Strategy and Coaching and an experienced leader, manager, coach and mentor in a wide variety of organisations and corporate cultures, in both the public and private sectors. As a marketing and PR professional, she held in-house and consultancy roles with both business and arts organisations. She is used to complex, high-change environments such as start-ups, technology businesses, the Civil and Health Services, Non-Departmental Public Bodies, legal, accountancy and engineering professional services, arts, culture and heritage and the voluntary sector. Previous roles have included the Scottish Arts Council, KPMG, Glasgow City Council, Spider Systems, United Artists/Telewest Communications, as well as running an independent marketing consultancy. She has served on the BBC Broadcasting and Audience Councils, the Scottish Food Advisory Committee, advocacy group Culture Counts and as a member of the Executive and Policy Committees of the Scottish Council for Development and Industry. Alex has an MA in Psychology and Philosophy, an MSc in Marketing and a Post-Graduate Institute of Leadership and Management Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. Alex is a native of Caithness and currently lives in Edinburgh.
