Arts & Business Scotland has been successful in its second round application to the Heritage Lottery Fund Catalyst Heritage Grants to lead a partnership with Archaeology Scotland, Built Environment Forum Scotland, Greenspace Scotland and Museums Galleries Scotland to deliver fundraising and capacity building skills for the sector.

The grant (£452,200) will deliver Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage, a three year Scotland-wide programme that will provide Scotland’s diverse heritage sector with the vital tools, training and support needed to develop capacity and confidence in generating income from private sources and increase organisational resilience.

The programme will deliver formal and informal networking and mentoring support sessions, training courses and forums, toolkits and peer-to-peer learning opportunities - all of which will have been developed in response to the needs of, and in collaboration with, the heritage sector in Scotland.

More information will be released as the Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage programme develops and launches in early 2014.
