Vacancy: Chair of Board of Directors
Red Note, Scotland’s award-winning contemporary music ensemble, is seeking to identify a potential new Chair for its Board of Directors following Professor Celia Duffy’s decision to step down in September 2019 after 10 years of service. Professor Duffy has overseen the growth and development of Red Note from its earliest beginnings in 2009 into the renowned Scotland-based, international touring ensemble it is today. Coinciding with our 10-year Anniversary, Red Note is looking for a new Chair to help us build on our achievements and oversee our long-term strategic development in to the future. Our current Board members have expertise and experience at a senior level in marketing, education, law, finances and arts. We invite expressions of interest from suitably experienced individuals currently at, or retired from, Chief Executive positions or equivalent. We would particularly welcome those with a background in business, a previous experience of board membership, and a genuine interest in music
