Vacancy: Dance Artist (Full Time)

The role of Dance Artist seeks to enhance the impact of Macrobert Arts Centre’s work by connecting with existing & new audiences and increasing participation in the arts. It is supported by the Big Lottery’s Young Start Fund. The post holder will deliver activity within a variety of outreach settings & at Macrobert Arts Centre. We are looking for someone who is creative & inspiring & can be a positive role model to the children & young people with whom they work. As well as being a fantastic facilitator, ambitious for the young people with whom you work, you will also be an experienced dance teacher & choreographer capable of delivering classes, workshops & performances of a high standard. The Dance Artist will also lead on the artistic development of Macrobert Arts Centre’s dance programme through in-house classes & the Macrobert Youth Dance Company (MYDC).
